The event is free and provides dinner for farmers attending. Dennis Brislawn Jr., estate planner and attorney, as well as Josh Giuntoli of the Office of Farmland Preservation will be covering the fundamentals of estate planning and helping you to take the next steps in developing a plan for the future of your farm! This 2 part course will present on topics ranging from family dynamics to laws and taxes, health care to land conservation programs and easements. Participants will be provided with supplemental handouts, presentations, a planning workbook and contacts to additional resources.
While it is not required to attend Part 1 on March 7th, you will get more out of this workshop as a complete series.
